Anniversary Celebrated with Coffee and Conversation

Nearly 60 people braved Old Man Winter to come and help Faith, Hope & Charity celebrate 20 years of service at their West Milwaukee location. A Chamber Coffee was held December 7th in FHC’s main building which was built 20 years ago. A Farmers Home Loan and the generosity of hundreds of supporters made the 1 million dollar “dream” project a reality. The doors of the new facility opened in the fall of 1985, welcoming 19 children with special needs. FHC began offering services to children with special children nearly 20 years earlier, but was very limited to the number of children they could serve because of space. With the opening of the facility on West Milwaukee, FHC had the capability to serve 32 children in their residential program. FHC has continued to grow over the years, adding additional therapies, activities and programs. Most recently, FHC expanded their respite care and community services program in 2002.
