NEW PRESIDENTS LEAD BOARDS AT FAITH, HOPE & CHARITY
FHC Scholarship recipient guest speaker

Buzz Paterson, Storm Lake and Randy Fehr, Storm Lake accepted the presidents gavel for the 2007 Faith, Hope & Charity Board and Faith, Hope & Charity Foundation board respectively on Wednesday, January 31st. Nearly 100 current and alumni FHC board members and FHC staff attended the annual event which was held at Buena Vista University.

Paterson has served on the FHC board since November 2001 and will be joined by the following officers: Vice President Hugh Perry and Secretary/Treasurer Mike Todd. New board members include: Brad Beukelman, Rick Faine, Grace Ivey, Josh Newhouse, Cindy Smith and Kim Weiland. As president of the FHC Foundation board, Randy Fehr will be joined by Vice President Dick Drahota, Secretary Margie Robinson and Treasurer Wes Stille. New comers to the Foundation board include Mike Blum, Dr. Doug Larson and Steve Brashears.

Retiring board members were presented with plaques honoring their service to FHC. From the FHC board, Barb Dvergsten, Pat Muilenburg, Kevin Pickhinke, Maggie Tewes, Jim Carney and Gary Lalone were honored. From the FHC Foundation board, plaques were given to Bill Buehler, and Mary Timko and Dale Carver for their years of service.  

Retiring President Rick Peterson spoke of the many goals realized during the past year through the dedicated efforts of board and staff alike including the first ever FHC Annual Campaign and reaching benchmarks identified in the organizations strategic plan.
