FHC Philosophy

Faith, Hope & Charity admits individuals between the ages of 3 and 18 who have been diagnosed as needing services which are extensive and pervasive to its program and services without regard to race, color, creed, sex, or national origin.

Faith, Hope & Charity concurs with the Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations that all human families without distinction of any kind have equal and unalienable rights to human dignity and freedom. Further, individuals who are diagnosed with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities have the same basic rights that other citizens of the same country and the same age group enjoy.

A life of dignity and purpose is a basic need of every human, especially individuals who are diagnosed with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities. We believe that every human life is of infinite value and deserves the opportunity to develop in an environment which contributes to the promotion of the individual feelings of personal worth, while focusing attention on the things which may be accomplished rather than on the things that cannot be accomplished.

All paid personnel shall have opportunities to contribute to the decision-making process of the organization and to participate in the planning of services for improvement of the quality of life for the residents.

Faith, Hope & Charity has done a remarkable job with our son. Through out the seven years he has been there, he has continually progressed and grown. All of the staff is wonderful and caring. Jared is as happy to come home, as he is go back to FHC. There are few places that combine quality care, love and trust. Faith, Hope & Charity does. They are one of the best places for children.
